It is amazing sometimes what you see when you look back to see where you have been instead of looking where you are going. This is the case of this capture. Again the lighting caught my eye. I thankyou all for your kind words of encouragment and your views.

The ridge is alive with light and shadows BTK. I see the King of Spades in one of the rock formations on the ridge. Colors are vibrant. Good post.

Billy - Watch your step here - it looks like you are standing on the edge of one of these precipices, giving us a grand view across the valley. Well done! Thad

Your narrative makes perfect sense to me, Billy, because I never know where I'm going. Then again I can never remember where I've been either. While this might sound like I'm saying that I'm lost, this couldn't be further from the truth. Actually it is exactly the truth. Where was I?

I'm enjoying your Phantom Canyon series, Billy. Love the natural colors in this shot and just the grand scheme of things in your postings. When will be seeing a shot from the top looking down? It doesn't really look like all that tough of a hike to get to the top.

I'm feeling generous and will award you an 8 on this beauty.
