Hello Billy...What an absolutely beautiful image.... perfectly composed and the colours are fantastic....Well done...All the very best to you Billy..........Mick.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
The trees in my part of the world are never colored that beautiful in the Fall. Seems that the relative high humidity is 'reponsible' for it. The only solution for me to make good Fall captures, is to come to Colorado. I will think it over, Billy, lol. Whether I'll come or not, I have anyhow your wonderful post. Thanks for that, mate.
Billy - If I went to Colorado to get some work done, beautiful scenes like this would keep me from getting the job done! There is beautiful color in COLORado! Thad
Thad is just too damn witty for me. Not sure what I can say to follow that line; so I'd better just get to the point of critiquing a posting with no flaws. I was going to comment about the noisy sky until I cleaned my monitor. Aspen trees? Whatever they are, they add some fabulous colors to your shot which is already loaded with a variety of blues from the sky and the reflection. At this time of year I especially appreciate the greens along the bank of the river (unless this river is called a creek or a stream) since the only greens I see at this time of year appear if I have the nerve to take a peak inside a burrito at Taco Bell.
I don't know know you manage this whole Colorado-Oklahoma thing, but we're all very lucky that you're in Colorado. I've been in Oklahoma a number of times and I'm sure there are some scenic vistas. I just never happened to see any of them although that could have been because I was going 90 mph until the trooper caught me. He actually let me off with a warning.
Stupendous work.
