This is another of the captures I got last weekend. I got this one between Steamboat Springs and Hahns Peak. I hope none of you are getting tired of the landscapes, really I like shooting them and thats about all there is to shoot around here. Thanks for the views and comments.

If this is from the last week, then you still have nice weather. Just a bit white on the mountains. LOL Great colors has this nice country Colorado.

Billy, you're a magician to me. No, not with crayons but with your camera!

Hi, Billy, this shot reminds me just a bit of the one I posted today with the distant hills and mountains. Many of your foreground colors are golden brown. In my shot the primary color is brown from dead and dried up vegetation.

You've managed to show some really nice depth in this shot. The foreground grasses, the hill on the right in the medium foreground, the distant plains with the nifty shadows from those billowing clouds and the distant colorful and snowy mountain range. The sky is nothing to chuckle about either. So far so great.

I have two minor criticisms of the shot only because I'm a bastard. I took the liberty of downloading your posting at maximum size and viewing it at 400%. First the area where the sky meet the top of the hill on the right looks suspicious. Secondly the golden colored vegetation in the foreground at center right looks fuzzy. I'm thinking possibly motion blur.

Except for a couple of minor distractions, this one's beauty. I'm looking forward to your winter shots of cars sliding on ice and frozen corpses. By the way, I swim a mile and a half every day. The pool is outdoors and it's supposed to be 90° again today with 0% humidity. Good for swimming and great for wild fires.

Well if you want something different to shoot, you could go into Denver and get a shot of my brother and his family. LOL. This is another great shot of the Colorado countryside. I miss it!

How could anyone tire of shots of God's Green Earth, BTK. There will be a day when we can't enjoy the beauty. Beautiful scene from a beautiful part of the world. Great series.
