There is just not much water at all in Oklahoma right now. We are still in the middle of a drought. I went to some of my favorite spots yesterday only to find them bone dry, which is really bad considering they are sping fed. I fly back to Co. tomorrow and will find my contest entry thier. In the meantime enjoy one of the few successful shots of yesterday. Thankyou for your comments and have a great day.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

If you call that small, you would call the ones around here tiny! This is really nice, Billy. I love the flow of the water and the colors and lighting.. Good job!

Hey, Bikky....

With that title, I was expecting a shot of you in the nude standing in front of a mirror. :-)

The focus in the near foreground is very sharp. I'd say in the upper left, the focus is a little soft. If they ever have a "soft focus" contest, I have first place locked up; so I know how to recognize the problem areas that I see in my postings every day.

A drought, eh? Here on the Central Coast we had two days of unseasonable rain a few weeks ago. Before that it hadn't rained since March. Since the rain, it's been over 90° every day. That water evaporated long ago. I guess I could do the four hour drive to Yosemite and find some waterfalls; but with gas back at $4 a gallon, it seems unlikely. Luckily half the Congress officially does not believe in global warming; so keep your fingers crossed and do a rain dance or two.

Roger

P.S. Nice job with the waterfall.

You slowed the water to perfection BTK. You took a trickle and made it ooze.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.

Way too soft of a focus. Really it looks quite blurry Billy. I hate having to say these things, but I'm sure you'd like my true opinion. A beautiful scene though!

Billy - You are in a drought, I have flooding in the area due to an season-long abundance of rain - if only there was a balance between the regions! It is a beautiful scene that does appear to be a bit blurry. Thad
