Taken last week in Buffalo Pass. I am back to work again so I will be out shooting in Colorado again this weekend. Thanks in advance for your great comments.
Caedes is in the middle of having a seizure so I hope I can get this comment out in one piece before it crashed. You full sized image has been loading for over a minute; so I'm just stalling until I can see what's what. Okay...it's finally loaded. I thought I saw a little darker line where the sky meets the land, but upon further examination I found no evidence of tampering. Either you've mastered the sky thing or this is the genuine article. Either way, the shot is simply gorgeous.
Not surprisingly I've seen a number of fall foliage shots these passed few weeks. On occasion sometimes I've remarked that the postings are just too busy for me. Some of my Caedes friends are so good with their lenses that you can count the individual leaves. I think that's great, but when it's this late at night, those shots can overwhelm my senses. Maybe they sharpen their shots more than I like. Not sure what causes that buzzing overload in my brain, but I'm not getting any weird sensations from viewing this shot. Sorry for being so obtuse. That is supposed to be a compliment.
I think it might be the aspen trunks that break up the scene. Those verticals help my mind adjust to the colors. Whatever it is....this shot is not to busy. It's just right.
If I wasn't so damn lazy, I'd find out what this "stitching" business is all about. Typically I have my dog Ollie with me when I'm doing my photos; so the idea of using a tripod or even spending a few minutes in one place waiting for a bird to do something is almost out of the question. Much as I've tried to explain the art of photography to Ollie, he's much more comfortable walking and only stopping to sniff other dogs and trees.
You are hereby awarded yet another "fave" in this series of colorful autumn shots and my last AC nomination. Stunning work.
Ol' man Dotger is going to let you live it down about the Bikky thing, is he? LOL. This is another nice one, Billy. I like the colors, and the bright sunshine to go along with them. Excellent work, sir!
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I like all the yellow and the white barked Aspens. I can see you have been stitching again.
Wonderful work.
Don't forget to vote.
