I know, I know, this is a big diviation from my normal landscape but it is also the bussiness that I grew up in. I did it long enough to know I wanted to finish school and get another job. But the oil field put food on the table when I was growing up and for that I am thankful. This was used with permission.

I'm confused about the line in your narrative "This was used with permission." Are you saying that you asked these guys if you could take a photo of them? Why bother? They don't look so tough. I say take the shot and beat the heck out of them if they look sideways at you.
Seriously, I like your departure. I think there are too few shots on Caedes of workers doing their thing. I think it's a great subject for a photo. I've been trying for over a year to get a shot in Morro Bay of the commercial fishermen offloading their catch. Congratulations on finding someone who's working. In California unemployment is probably about 20% even though the official number is slightly over 10%. In SLO County, the largest non-government employer is Albertson's, a chain of grocery stores. Almost everybody else works in the prison system or for a municipality. Excellent shot and a fine departure.
