Bear is a Husky/German Shepard mix that my wife and I adopted from our local animal shelter last month. He has proven to be full of personality and has become a loyal friend and family member. Anyone looking for a new pet I highly recomend that you go by your local shelter. The animals there will love you for it.

I went to a local shelter once to get a dog BTK and came home with three. Most dogs I have owned came from shelters. This is a beautiful dog. The breeds mixed well. I think he needs a red kerchief around his neck to really set him off.

He is a handsome dog Billy, we adopted a cat for my mom, and dad from the local shelter when they moved to Indiana from Nebraska, and precious is such a good cat, and companion. Tigs♥ =^..^=

The eyes are Husky's !!! So is the fur LOL Beautiful red coat and I must disagree with Tick about the red kerchief round his neck!!! Dark blue only ! LOL
One caution, though. Huskies are born lone travellers [=love to run away] so please make sure the gate is always closed when he is out ... Mine has but a drop of Husky's blood, but for the first five years whenever he was not on a leash, he simply vanished for and hour or two. I have been lucky in any case as the real true blood huskies tend to vanish for days ...
Otherwise most loyal to the owners, especially if mixed with German Shephard. All the best to you and your new family member !!!!
