This was the last shot of the evening before the sun fell over the horizon. I hope you enjoyed the small series. I thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Beautiful sunset. The sun, the light house and the point of land opposite the light house keep the eye moving through and around the image. It is a very nice composition.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Another excellent shot and very good composition, Billy. You're lucky to have some interesting objects to silhouette in this shot because clear skies at sunset just don't turn my crank. You did the best with what Mother Nature provided although the shot appears to be slightly left leaning. I base this observation on the fact that my monitor is balanced on a bunch of #2 pencils to keep it straight. I'll go get my laser level and get back to you.

Hello Billy...You certainly have captured a moment in time with this one...With the sun going down creating a warm glow in the sky and the lovely silhouettes makes this a really tasteful composition and so beautiful...Well done....All the very best to you Billy.......Mick.
