The first signs of Spring are showing here in Oklahoma. I thought this a fitting entry into our contest. I hope you enjoy it and thankyou for your comments.

We have a few trees starting to bud so it won't be too long BTK.
I like the selective focusing on this. The heart of the shot is in great focus.

You know me, Billy. I'm not a flower guy to begin with. And every spring on Caedes there's a barrage of flower pictures since much of the world has been staring at ice and slush for five months.

With that in mind, I'll say that this is a nice shot of some sort of a bloom. I'm happy that Oklahoma has seemingly survived another winter and that spring is just around the corner.

Looks like some noise and oversaturation in the background. I suspect that there will be much competition in the contest. I'll post the true winner of a contest immediately following the end of the contest. Keep in mind that I said a contest, not THE contest.
