Along the shore somewhere in Hastings, UK. Taken many years ago, and more recently scanned from a slide. Wishing I could go back.

Such a good memory for the UK, Winona. Hopefully they found work. Reminds me of some of Owd Timers beached boats. I like the angle and your scan looks really good.

Although it's scanned from a slide, this post has a very good quality Winona. Love the composition and its atmosphere. Very good work!

There's always something special we all want to go back to. At least we do hold the memories close to our hearts. Very nice photo, lots of feeling. Verena

Apparently laid up because the boats are too old and no longer seaworthy. Nice shot Winona with that deep blue sky behind. Quite good for an image scanned from a slide.

Very good quality for a scanned image (the sky is a bit of noise, have you tried downloading Neat Image?). The colours are great and who can fault the subject matter as it's real-life?

I have never scanned a slide, and have no idea how to go about it, but you sure have good quality resulting from that process. Excellent scene Winona.

Amazing clarity and deep colors... I like the orange on the large boat, it's a neat eye-catcher.
