Yes, it is. Still all this white stuff in the Yukon River here. When will it ever end?? Days are getting a bit warmer, but not fast enough.

Now that's my kind of scenery. I would rather be in the mountains like this, than the tropics, any day. Gorgeous shot, Winona. Do you have an old cabin or shed that I can move into? LOL.

This is so beautiful. Wonderful composition and depth. The sun is shining and the ice is starting to break, spring is in the air :-) Excellent post!

With that beautiful sky above and the white "icescape" below this is a beautiful image. I can understand that you are tired of seeing the snow and ice. Hope it will vanish soon and that you will be able to show us the river as it should be - with flowing water!

So beautiful Winona. The blues and whites look so good. It is tough to break up. Just ask Neil Sedeka. I like the view down/up the river with your town on the far bank. Nice post.

But Winona this is soooooooooo beautiful! I do understand because I got tired of the brrrrrr cold and ice and snow. But, gosh the bloo and white are so easy on the eyes. But it's always nice to dress lighter and see Spring flowers here and there. I love your photo here tho. It is truly beautiful!! I will love it on my desktop. Thank you so much. Verena

And longer, no? Certainly longer than here in California!

I've been to Alaska in June, I'm envious, Alaskan summers are great. I won't mention the winter :)

Crisp, clear, and beautiful, Winona. the two spots of open water mean that spring is beginning to work its magic. Hope it's soon!

Great capture Winona. You might be wishing for warmer weather, but the warmer weather will lose you the light quality that makes this image so crisp. Well done & thanks for sharing. Barry
