Didn't know where else to put it. I'm guessing this place was built last summer, or the summer before that. Anyway, it's beside the Yukon River and the trail where I go bike riding. I met the same fellow on the trail a few times, and saw him go to this place, which was quite well hidden by the trees, and bushes. I think he lived there all summer, but the place is empty this year, so I had a look. I felt rather sad that he had to live in this, even for a short time, as I thought he had been staying in a tent. Such is life in the Yukon at times, so we must appreciate the good life.

Oh, pity. The surrounding doesn't look bad, it would be good to have some little house there.

It looks as though a winter storm hit the structure (sorry, home) hard and it disintegrated. The photo is good Winona, not for its good appearance but for the sentiment behind it.

What a good presentation of a tragic situation. You are correct about being thankful for what we have. Nice reminder Winona.

I agree about being thankful. We take so much for granted. Nice stimulating shot of conditions I have never experienced, and wouldn't want to experience. I sure would like to have the mountainous scenery though.

---so we must appreciate the good life---

I agree with you Winona, as it's hard to imagine that one can live in such terrible conditions and evironment.

This is so sad... I just hope the man has a much better place to live now. There are homeless people living in the woods on Cape Cod too...
