Taken on a outing yesterday, with younger friends ... drive part way up, walked the rest of the way on the road, puffing, and panting. Then took a shortcut(?) bushwhacking down the mountainside, dodging deep snow patches, back to the truck. Yep, I'm here today to post this.

I am glad you made it back, no worse for wear, and were able to post this beauty. What a great panorama of the mountains and surrounding area. I would love to see that range of snow covered peaks. I have been to the top of Pikes Peak, and Mt. Evans in Colorado, but it was August, and very little snow in the mountains. Seeing this, would be a dream come true. Fantastic picture, Winona.

A wonderful panorama Winona. I would have been huffing and puffing so hard that I wouldn't have been able to hold the camera still. Thanks for sharing your day in photo and words.

You must be still quite fit to do all that Winona. A wonderful view well worth the trouble you had to take. The colours and the whole panorama is fantastic.
