Posted this area before, but not with the snow around ... still too much of it left, and still coming. Not far from the highway, and even closer to the old railway, not serviceable any more.

Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to OZ and the Emerald City. A very nice place to live. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE

Winona - If those logs could speak, what stories might they tell? Nestled in the mountains, in a remote place, these buildings were a pleasing sight to travelers in yesteryear. You have captured well the remoteness. Well done! Thad

So remote and isolated... they have an evocative simplicity and time-honored beauty, especially with those mountains in the background... Nicely done, Winona.

We have still 6°C in the mornings. That is not usual for mid-May. Nice image Winona, showing the place that once was. Also the sky looks great.

Oh Winona this is so beautiful! It reminds me of the wonderful Grand Teton Mountains in Montana. It's always so awesome when the buildings are made of logs. They look strong and able to endure all the weather. I watched many of these being built in Montana too. Bravo on a most lovely scene and photo!! Verena
