I love the story this picture tells....it depicts the characteristics of the girl and boy very well.....the girl very plain (note no fancy nails), but rather particular (read: princessy) and the boy much more inclined to get his hands dirty and dig in. Love it.

I very much like the way you put this image together. The touching fingers. The diagonal formed by the fingers which gives a dynamic to the image. The blank background which isolates the fingers in space. Finally the rings - worn and well-broken in (like the marriage they represent?) It all tells a story, and when art is done well it does exactly that.

Here's one "critical comment": If the aperture were a bit smaller, the image elements would all be in focus, and that would make a difference. This is the down-side to using the shallow depth of field that serves you so well in isolating your subjects.
