This car has been in the family for many years. My father bought it brand new in 1970 and has had it ever since. I remember being a small child in the front seat with my dad filling up at the gas station for 65 cents a gallon. Shell 260 powered back when gas had some real kick.

Yep, that's a 1970 Barracuda. That same year, I bought my first new car...Plymouth Sport Satellite... Lime Green. They also had a bright yellow that year. My friends thought I was crazy getting a lime green car. I liked it. I wanted a Road Runner, but my Dad said the insurance was too much. So I settled for the Sport Satellite. ..nice picture, and thanks for the flash back memories.

Great old car! Although he's not the original owner, my cousin has a '70 Superbird that's been in his possession since he bought it from someone back in 1977...I loved the old Mopar muscle of those days! Nice capture...Into the favs!
