Here you see the altar of 'St. Peter's Church'. The Baroque high altar was created by Antionio Galli-Bibiena and his Bolognese workshop (construction) and Martino Altomonte (1657-1745) (altarpiece). The altarpiece portrays the Healing of the Lame by St. Peter and St. John in Jerusalem. The same artist also painted the altarpiece in the side chapel of the Holy Family. Enjoy :o)

Fantastic detail and so much to see in this image. Not an easy one to tackle..indoor church lighting often leaves dark spots here an there, especially in these hugh European places of worship. Nice work Chris.

Beautiful capture and wonderful detail everywhere Chris. The lighting is your usual perfection and the colors are beautiful in this evening light. Very nicely done.

Yes, an extremely difficult lighting situation. I tried this many times in Italy and none of them worked. Good work.
