you could have chosen any one of those arches Chris, but I think you used your skills to capture the best perspective possible here! Just like a painting! I love it! Patti

I especially like the way you composed this. Shooting through those darkend arches really highlights what lies beyond in the canal. Very nice job and very nice post.
WOW....do you have new equipment or did I clean my contacts? :) :) :) This is really good, Chris.. the colors are vivid and yet muted to the right degree. The intensity of it all is just calendar perfect..you even made the graffiti looks great...excellent job, my friend, and I hope I meet this in the voting booth.
A superbly composed image -and the clarity and colour can not be faulted. It is on my desktop - the closest I will ever get to Venice.:)
A most beautiful post Chris.
The perspective you used here is really great, you have an good eye for this, it looks almost like a painting. One thing i dislike is the blue border around it, to me it really distract your attention on this shot. It pays too much attention and does not match with this shot at all. But... the picture itself is great, so keep it up!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
