Chris, it's a pretty long time ago that we've seen a (non reposted) photo of Vienna from you. '#1' suggetsts that this is an image of a new series. If so, the start is very promising. Regards, Cornelius

Interesting perspective here. I like that the statue in front is the focal point -- almost the lens for viewing the front of the palace. Beautiful.

I agree with Jan. What a strange looking creature. It always amazes me how the women statues appear to have some sort of masculine qualities, muscles or their facial features appear manly...this one has a baby on her back, so I guess there is no doubt what sex she is as I don't recall ever seeing a statue of a man with a child hanging about !! Nicely composed, my friend.

taken from the perfect spot Chris! I like the statue on the left side leading your eye across the picture to the building and then to the amazing blue sky!

A very nice photo!
And even more, because it brings back memories from the time that I visited Vienna and Belvedere.
May I give you a hint? To prevent the walls falling over at the left you may just take a shot a few steps back so that this part of the image is only at the middle and right side of your original. Then crop away the rest. You see, with a wide angle lens only the side go distorted, the middle will remain straight.
