This sculpture of a lion is placed near Traunsee in Upper Austria by some reason. Rumour has it that the sculptor drowned himself after realizing he forgot the lion's tongue...

i love the sky here its awesome! shame the lion kinda lost some details with the hdr. but.. hdr ... addictive huh?! lol

It must be a rumour only, nobody is that stupid, or drunk i'd guess.
Coincidentaly, i posted a image from the Traunsee to today. I was there on a rainy day, but still liked the place ! Have a look full size when you get home.

Chis, think that the sculptor had no good reason to drown himself as the lion stands for something else and without a tongue one can't speak evil. Wonderful story and image. Regards, Cornelius
