I went looking under the leaves of this big plant in my backyard for an insect to take a picture of and I thought this was pretty interesting looking - it's the trunk (i guess that's what it's called) of a Philodendron. I feel like it's watching me...

Interesting, unusual shot of those leaf scars. Great idea for a photo.

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)

Cool! Those plants only survive here indoors as far as I know, I would love to see a full sized image of the plant!

Looking for an insect, you have found something quite sinister. As you say the plant seems to watch. The points and the eye like shapes give it animal traits, which must be qiute disconcerting for something that remains totally motionless. The image is sharp and accurate too.
A bit different is what i like.
Great post.
