It is this throne that makes a church a Cathedral. This is The Cathedra or the Bishop's Throne in Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. It is the symbol of the Bishop's Authority in the diocese.
A change of mood for the music to listen to whilst looking at my picture. This is the final few minutes of Bruckner's Te Deum. This is loud, majestic music to accompany The Bishop's Throne. Mrs Braces and I sang this with our choral society a few years ago.

Like Nigel that info was new to me as well, but I dont have a local cathedral, the two local ones are in BAngor and St Asaph. I am going to have to look in Bangor now when I next go for a tutorial. I have to agree with the above about the lighting and details. x
