No, it's not a picture of a pub but one of New Brighton's many swans that gather on The Model Boating Lake on The Promenade every day waiting for people to feed them.

Suppose you're one of them Steve, lol.

Agree with the above comments saying that this is an excellent close up again.

I think this is the best close-up of a swan's head I've seen in a long time. You can almost reach out and think you're about to touch it for real, such is the clarity and colour. I also love those beadlets of water all over its head and neck too. Well done and fav'd - thanks for sharing!

This is excellent. The water drops on the swans head are eye catching. The unusual pose is welcome as well. Good work.

Lovely and sharp Steve, its head fills the frame nicely and the shallow DOF is great. I like the black background too, nice camera skills on this one.

Gorgeous close up shot with great details! Think they'll get plenty of food and that you're one of them giving it.

I am sure your either hypnotising these birds or bribing them with really expensive treats lol. Your entire series of swan pics has been outstanding.

I hope you took this with a telephoto lens, otherwise you might have been gummed to death by the bird... ;-)) Actually this is a really neat close-up portrait... every tiny feather and water droplet is visible. Niiicely done.
