This is the estuary of The River Lune taken from a hillside just outside Glasson Dock in North Lancashire in the north of England. The mountain is the start of The Lake District and the nuclear power plant Is Heysham 1.
Well, certainly enough rivers and mountains here for me as we have next to nothing in our area. The nuclear power station is really fascinating. I promise to study the link ! Thanks for the view which is firstly pleasant for the eye and secondly instructive for the mind. SAM & SAAB
I like the river...Love the mountain...I don't however, adore the nuclear power station...I'd rather see a bunch of wind turbines or solar panel arrays, personally...
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It is a high powered shot. :)
