Very old door, ruined by the need to install a dead bolt. Some of the windows and doors in this town are over 300 years old.

But I think, they could have found a more beautiful bolt. Very interesting capture. Would love to see one of those doors in a whole.

I love the obvious age of the bolt and the scratches on the (even older) door. They remind me of my childhood, where my farming relatives got all the use possible out of structures before tearing down and building new. I wish I could hear the stories this door is telling!
