During the hurricanes the tree tops snapped like toothpicks, and many trees were uprooted by the force of the winds, but the Spanish Moss held on tight and prooved stronger than the storm.
Would that we all could survive such storms of other making and come out this strong on the other side...You've caught the spirit of the moment in this photo...it's a keeper as a constant reminder of just how much it's possible to endure.
Wow... Bryan this is something. The mood and story is captured here in this picture forever. I am completely struck by the reeking desolation and silence from "after the storm". I like the content of the picture, but not so much the color tone you applied to it. The top part of the picture gets almost too light, and blurs the image more than a bit. Maybe a bit darker, and contrasted. Hard to judge though, the brown does add a lot to the mood. Very impressive! Ashley
Hello Bryan...gosh how I miss the Spanish Moss from Louisiana. I've always wanted some for our trees up here in ORegon...I also love how you posted this in the Sepia colours....was it that way naturally that day? or did you change into it.? Either way, I like the shot a lot...V
I like this one a lot because of its colors, they represent the spirit of a hurricane perfectly.
I like the composition of the broken tree.
Thanks for sharing
