Another creature trying to warm up with the first rays of spring sun. Soon they will all be out and it will become a competitive world for all these animals. The only sin of these creatures is that they use poison to protect and feed themselves. The creator should have never cursed them with that because as a result they are feared, thusly, hunted relentlessly.

Hi Bryan,

I enjoy these pictures, I like how you used a B&W picture as a background,
Lightning on the serpent is nice and makes it stand out better (these creatures will hide themselves from time to time),

It is a competitive world out there, especially when the law of Nature counts (survival of the fittest), The Great Creator must have had a very good reason for cursing them in this competitive world,

Thanks for sharing

You have captured this snake wonderfully. Coiling in the green he look striking. The lighting is beautiful. Also, I like how you have put this image on a B&W bacground. Excellent and creative, Bryan. :)

Great presentation as had been said! The treatment of the image highlights it perfectly.
I like what you say too. I think the *biggest* trouble is that we humans think we own the environment instead of having it on loan, for a short while. So glad you posted this - everything has a place - and this snake is no different.

Quite an unusual image, the b/w is smart as it encases the snake and shows it off very well...I agree with Kate thoroughly re: us vs. other creatures

Unique creative vision. I like the way you have brought the snake forward by having it in color and the background in B&W. The snake is a drab color and the green grass is a good background for him. Thanks Bryan, for this interesting nature image :^)

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)

Great imaginative view, but still don't like anything creepy or wriggly! :-)

OMG, a snake in the grass!:-) I like snakes though I give them the right-of-way when they look poisonous. My mother was phobic. She drew the line when, at age ten, I once tried to pick up a garter snake and put it into one of her cooking pots for safe-keeping.
