This picture was taken at a beautiful lake near my house. I love going there when the sun is going down and relaxing on the beach.

Hello Bryan,
This is a very special sunset point of view. You have made a good capture of the field, giving the photo a nice simetric composition. The background isn't very clear, but i think it is because the sun in front. Anyway, well done.

I am not so bothered about the blur on the background. To me it gibes depth. The image looks tilted to the left which I find off-putting. Good colours, very nqtural and a good composition.

I'm with Chris (Coram), I think this is a great image except for that one factor, the large tilt to the left. Water makes it easy for us to get our images level, as the water surface is almost always dead level, wide calm bodies of water are level for sure. Everything else is great, the comp, the tones, the contrast of smooth water and sharp edged reeds and even that hint of orange intensity in the sun. Plenty of free software out there that will let you level out your shots easily.

It is not "The powerful attack the weak." it is "The fearful attack what they fear."

I too think that the slight tilt is a bit distracting, but otherwise a lovely capture. I like the sun coming through the reeds and the reflections too. The angle from which you took this just makes it. Well done!
