This is an absolute stunner, George! Did you use HDR on this? The colours are really intense. I like the little details like the stray piece of cobweb too.

Good closeup capture of this thorny bloom George. Some kind of thistle from the looks of it. Good details and sharp colours against a nicely blurred background. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
George ... I like how you composed this image. Nice close-up of the thistle ... slightly off-center works nicely. The blurred landscape background lends a bit of dreaminess to the image. I notice a bit of vignetting (especially in the upper two corners), but IMHO doesn't detract from the image itself. Wonderful capture George & thanks for sharing some of nature's beauty.
