I took this photo early one morning. This old house by the pond brought me a warm smile and a soothing feeling just to look at it. I hope it does the same for you!

I agree, too bad the size is so small. Looks like a great place to be, I'd sure like to be in that chair on the porch!

This little country cabin I found on a little country road in my home state of Alabama. I use to have a website (called ' The Old South') and I did digital exhibits at art & craft shows, of my photos around the southern states. I traveled around to fine old beautiful things to photograph that might bring back some pleasant memories. I am planning to post more of my photos on this site. Thank You for your nice comments.

Such a nice picture but no higher resolutions. Good work but it just wouldn't look very good on a bigger monitor.

Hello Rick...This is a well balanced photo...its a pleasure to look at...The way you have captured the water in the foreground really balances the picture...Well done...All the best...Mick.

Enjoy what time you do not sell to someone else, you have been given a finite amount so use as much as you can for yourself and try not to waste it.

It totally give me the same feeling. You captured it really well. I would love to have something like this sitting on the edge of a pond. A perfect place to just kick back and watch the sunset.

Thanks for sharing.

What a sweet sweet picture. I would love to come upon something like that. How nice that you could find it, and take such a lovely photo!! I love the way you captured the scene by having the water sure a foreground to welcome us to the little house. That would be such a nice place to spend a few days fishing etc...I love the haziness of the morning you captured too..Verena

Each day I must take one more step, no matter how small or how large, but I must take the step.

Proof it doesn't have to be grand to be lovely. This one's still in use and well cared for. Maybe a weekend get away. I'd definitely use it in that tranquil spot
