While travling around to find Old South things to photograph I ran across this old homeplace. The old horseshoe nailed to the fence post made it look so western. I have presented this photo for viewing in an aged format to give it an Old West look!

I love this....you have beautifuly illustrated the "Old West"....from the horseshoe on the fence to the soft neutral tones of the sky & landscape. I love how the shadows are dancing on the old homestead home. It looks so close to a painting....I could see this as a beautiful framed picture on a wall. Excellent work. 10+ & straight to my fav's & desktop.

Superb - Great manipulation - the colours suit the subject perfectly - and the shoe really gives a feeling for the place you are photographing! High marks from me, too!!!

You have certainly captured that "old west" feel with this . Superbly done. I feel like I'm in Texas!

Good idea. The unique composition and neutral colors drive home the western theme like a cowboy drives his heard to market - with saddle ablaze!

I must agree, this is a great shot and the tone choice was a good one. I love the horseshoe in the foreground, good texture. It keeps the attention...

I love it! There is nothing that I would change in the picture. Few photos havae it all - this is one of them. Great job.

This is a very appropriate use of the sepia tone you applied. Very unique image here on Caedes, nice work.

Thank you for the comment on Lakeside Splendor. I'm glad you enjoyed it~

I love this! I'm a big fan of documenting the places with age and history before they're mercilessly torn down for mini malls as I think you've already noticed from me. But this shot is taken and manipulated purely for arts sake. These tones and mood are very fitting and well done. Exellent post!

The perspective, composition and colours here are simply perfect. There's so much great character in this pic, top stuff.
