Yet another shot from the Dale Chihuly exhibition at the Missouri Botanical Garden. These Red Heron pieces seem to be playing in solitude in the trees. It almost seems like they are hiding.

You're right, they do look like they're hiding. I like their orange color mixing with the lovely greens. They sort of remind me of lollipops. Well I am hungry right now so that explains that.
Do you have any other parts of Missouri you could share? I don't really know much about the place, I'd love to see more of it because I love anything new. Just a suggestion. Have a great day!

This is one of the prettiest, but I think I say that about almost every one of these series that I've been able to post about. I couldn't get to everyone,as I do have a life out here in what some call reality..lol...I'd rather sit and comment on these lovely representations and art that ppl see, create and share so well in here. These are among my favorites because not only of the sculptures themselves, and the way they do look like they are trying to hide, but the very realistic feel these have...perhaps because of the placement of them? I'm not sure. I also have to mention that the greens, especially the frond of fern that leans over from the left of the take to just beyond where our eye can see at the top creates a lovely line of interest, and helps to hide our glass beauties as well. And oh, how they do shine so sweetly and with such a varied amount of amber and red and all hues in between. thanks again for showing us another angle on this most whimsical display :)PJ
