Very nice! I think the lack of bright light here really sets the mood to a calming one. The backround is really nice too, love the colors here. Very pretty.

What a riot of color this giant ruffled blossom is!!!! I can't say that I've even seen that particular shade of tangerine, if that's an accurate term for it, and the intricate swirls of pink in the center in combination before. Perhaps it is only because it is a macro that it looks so large, but it certainly has a commanding presence and the way you've placed it in this composition plays to that aspect. I love the way it tilts its head up slightly and exhibits almost a haughty air :) The stamen can't and won't be ignored and I'm sure that many an insect has spent some time on this pollen bearer...probably ran into it ...lol...the rich verdancy of the leaves and the bits of highlights need to be as deep in color as they are to bolster and support the whole of the view.
