Looking west toward the sunset on the Columbia River on the Oregon side. Just getting started again taking pictures, I found out what happens when you put off backing up all your important data, YOU LOOSE IT! Both my hard drives took a dive with all my pictures going back to 98! Its a very sickening feeling!! I hope you enjoy my first picture!

It's a very pleasant image. It's a shame about you loosing all the photos. This reminds me to make copies of all my images. I do it every so often, but haven't in a while. Maybe this afternoon. You have a very tranquil photo here.

Paul, I am so sorry to hear about your hard disks. What a tragedy! I hope there is still some way to save what you have on there. This is a lovely beginning of photos though. I love the soft light over the water...and I happen to like the big open sky at the top.
