Paul - Mt. Hood - Elevation: 11,249 feet (3,429 M) - the height and year-round snowcap is impressive enough. Add the color of this cloud filtered sunlight, with the peak aglow, and it is strikingly beautiful. Nicely done! Thad

Oh Paul! Oregons Mt. Hood..what a perfect photo you got here! The glow casting on it is totally magnificent. You really got this at the precise moment! And I assume you took it with the Columbia River in the front? From the Washington side? The glow of the sunset even showing on the waters, and I love the pilings on the left.
