Had a pretty hard time finding anything for the contest so I had a couple extra pictures of this old falling down barn. It is totally gone now, pulled down by a tractor. I do hope you like!
Paul - I don't think the tractor had to work too hard to pull this the rest of the way down. Great color and lighting in this shot. Good luck in the contest. Thad
Timmmmmmmm-berrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Well. That takes care a that. LOL. Nice find and capture. An old rickety barn like that looks good in any season. Nicely done. Good luck, Paul.
Great capture of this tired looking old barn. Nice colours and lighting. I have to ask, why is the silo inside the barn? I'd like to have gotten my hands on those old barn boards. Good luck in the contest.
Nice job, but it does look as if it is on its way down. Guess I've never seen a silo right inside a barn, but guess it could happen. Very good shot and a good one for the contest.
In a weird way it almost seems like an action shot (hi by the way!). I notice the tree is somewhat bowed, like it's windy (??) and the way the barn is leaning, it looks like a little bit stronger wind would knock it right over! Great capture!
Living and working in a rural state state (for 56 years so far) I've seen a gozillion (to quote Forrest Gump) old barns and silos, but I've never seen a silo constructed inside a barn before. Did you get any closer ones that feature that unusual use of a silo? Great shot, btw - good luck in the contest.
I see how you are! Holding out on us! Well, glad the contest pulled this one out of your box! I love it! Looks as though the silo is holding the whole thing up!

Great shot Paul. I would have loved finding such a barn to shoot. It is kinda of sad to see it in this condition but even sadder to know it gone too! Good luck in the contest. ~~ John
I guess it was doomed, but I'm so glad you captured it before it was gone! I especially like the lighting/shadows, and vibrancy in the colours! A most unusual barn... as I have never seen so many windows in one before. Sorry I didn't get here sooner. Excellent work, Paul!
