I like the original, too, Paul, but it's good you like to experiment. Good rework.

Paul - It's good as new! I'm not dure if the silo is being held up by the barn, or vice-versa! The b/w background and brightened barn, though quite dilapidated, is an interesting look. Some nice reworking! Thad

The side of that barn is so out-of-whack, it almost looks like you used a distort filter on the picture. LOL. I like the selective colorization here, and the lighting. Looks like a successful experiment to me.

The selective coloring making the barn look like the sun is shining only on it is neat Paul. A good experiment. That's how we learn to use those confusing programs. Nice post.

The processing really brings out the light and shadows on the barn. Interesting technique!

What fun! Look at you go! Once you get started playing with those programs you never look at your pictures the same way....you are always thinking...if I tweak this....or tweak that....I will get......
Love it! The isolated color is fantastic!

I'm still trying to figure out how the silo got inside the barn. A great re-work Paul, love the selective colouring and light.

I wonder what it would be like with the colors reversed--the countryside and vegetation (symbolizing new) in color and the barn (symbolizing old) in black and white or sepia tones. Neat shot, great idea for reworking.

Brilliant work Paul. Good things there wasn't a strong breeze that morning as it would have been reduced to a pile of lumber :):) Good work!

Hey Paul, you've done a wonderful job at the selective colour effect! However, I can't help thinking what it would look like in the reverse :) As much as I loved the original, this is quite interesting, and puts more focus on the dilapidated barn. Isn't it fun to experiment?! :) Well done!

Wonderful rework. This really brings out the barn. The original of course is the best.
