A little view of Mount St.Helens 30 years after the May 18th 1980 eruption. Indian paint brush and a new tree has taken root along with so many different animals that once lived here before the eruption wiped everything out. Hope you like.

I love the fact that the "regrowth" is in the foreground and very colorful and alive and the remnants of the devestated mountain is a little hazy in the background. Fantastic post.

It has been 30 years? Where has the time gone? I really like the Indian Paint Brush in the foreground. Talk about your hope imagery.

Beautiful colours in the foreground of your photo. They provide a nice contrast against the starkness of the barren mountain in the background. Nicely composed and presented. Great work Paul.

A really beautiful shot, Paul. And a wonderfully optimistic sentiment too.

It would be my luck, that if I went there it would blow again. I think I will stay clear of that mountain. Excellent view and shot, Paul.
