Worked with this a little and lowered the saturation to make the rock look a little more natural and did not crop so much water in front giving a little depth. This will be my entry into the contest.

I like your improvements over the original...no distractions and good color and mood...good luck.

I didn't see the original, but I don't think it could be better than this one. Very nicely done.

Yes. This one is quite the fine example of simplicity. Serene, and subtly lit. Nice.

As a personal preference, I think I'd like to see the left side cropped in, bringing the rocks to the left of the frame, and making this a vertical.

In any event, you've shot this nicely. Well done.

I agree with JimBob, Paul. This does look more natural than the first version. A great find nonetheless.
Best wishes for the contest.

This is a better image. To me it is alot sharper for one thing and that you left more water at the bottom is good also. Nice work.

I like this version much better. The balancing rocks looks more nature against the rippled water. Excellent work Paul & best wishes in the contest.

I like the fact that I can't see the wires and support poles holding this art object upright. :D
Certainly a more natural look in this version, Paul. Wonderful focus and colours. Very nicely presented shot.

Very good!! I like the first one still for is fuzzy qualities, it made it seem more mysterious looking, however I like this one equally for its clean cut look, the texture of the rock and the ripples in the water!! All round great work!! and best of luck for the competition!! :)
