Yesterday I posted Mt. Hood but I also snapped a few of his temperamental sister Mt. St Helens. Helens is about 65 miles North of Mt Hood. Enjoy! Sorry for not commenting as of late but Christmas with four teens can really tie one down!! You end up so tired that you cant type anymore! I really appreciate all of of your comments and always love to see everyone's posts. I do hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Well maybe if you hid the rope the teens wouldn't tie you down next time. :) Another grand view of a beautiful mountain-scape. I like the layering in the photo with the tree lines and cloud cover. A nice colour tone of the image as well.

Oh, this one is wonderful. It's so mystic, but also fantastic. The snow is very interesting, as if it's painted. Great job, Paul.

A terrific shot, Paul! The mountain certainly looks majestic in this scene. I love the trees and mist in the foreground, and the dim light and dark gray cloud layer atop the mountain create a wonderful mood.

Paul - The horizontal lines are quite nice. The dark segments lead the eye to Mount St. Helens as the deserved focal point. Thad

You got a marvellous result with your work Paul, it seems part of another world/dimension landscape, love it! 4 teenagers? Are you the fourth one? :-)

Another beautiful shot. That cloud bank really looks like it hanging down low.
