This is a remnant of a small Oregon town called Mayville. Its considered a ghost town but still has some of the old buildings standing here and there...some by only a few square nails. This is the old Blacksmith shop and carriage works.

What a great old building Paul! I like that sway in the roof. Your perspective is very nice and the lighting is wonderful! The dried grass blowing with the wind and the old tire are the perfect touch for this great shot!

I love images of these old buildings, places that echo of another time and place... You captured it well, the detail is excellent. I can hear the wind soughing through the grass and around the building...

A great capture of the old shop Paul. A nice angle in the photo and good clarity in the shot. Good lighting and colours and a wonderful looking scene.

I have always been a fan of that sunken roof look and style. LOL. Outstanding find and capture, Paul.

Splendid detail and clarity Paul.
The colour is wonderfully deep - as it is in all your images.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I like the silvery color of the weathered Wood. By the look of the curved roof it wont be long befor the building is going to collapse. It is a pitty. It is nice that you got to get this very good photo of it Before it does.
