If "Autumn for Bob" was dedicated to Bob, this one should be dedicated to Raj in appreciation of his sensitiveness and keen eye. The image "Autumn for Bob" was taken left of this apparently intact jungle. Will keep you updated about the desolation in progress... Women seem to aggravate pain by constantly dwelling upon it. Excellent post SAM . The very same thing is being done in most of the United States.
As Tick already said to many will not be happy till they have replaced Mother Nature with concrete . I get so angry when I read about people complaining about the Deer , Coyote and Fox coming on to their land . What they have forgotten is that it was their HOME first and they have no place to go . John Anderson wrote a great song called Seminole Wind written about the destruction of the Everglades the home of The Seminole Nation in the name of "progress ".
Ever since the days of old,
Men would search for wealth untold.
They'd dig for silver and for gold,
And leave the empty holes.
And way down south in the Everglades,
Where the black water rolls and the saw grass waves.
The eagles fly and the otters play,
In the land of the Seminole.

What a pity to destroy such beautiful piece of land. Near where I live same thing is happening - new areas converted as residential plots and in a few months time new houses and roads built there. Nice image of this lovely scene Marzena.
