HI! I am not as happy as I expected to be with this one, that's why I haven't uploaded for the last two days. I would like some help on this one, tell me what you think, please! I know aabout the name, but just watched "Vanity Fair" again. From, Calmagical

Hardly a cause for sackcloth and ashes! This is really very nice. I really like the silver scrollwork a lot - some of the most interesting metalwork I've seen and I'm a sucker for silver. I like the way it is nobbly and yet thin and delicate looking. Really 3D, too.
There's something which is slightly bothering me about the way everything is working together here. I like the green, the background and jewels are nice and the metalwork is excellent, but there's still something. I think it has to do with the depth of the jewels and scrollwork. They look a bit flatter on one side than the other to me. Or not quite that, but a bit flatter where (i) there's a gap in the scrollwork (i.e. the jewels look flatter there) and (ii) the little jewels are placed (the larger jewels look flatter here). This could be my eyes and/or screen and this is not intended to be a criticism of the image as a whole. It's a relatively minor quibble about an otherwise excellent image whose silvery elements I especially and particularly like.
Can't you change the title if you don't like it? Or just edit your description to include "Amended title: This Image Needs No Title'" or whatever... Just a thought. Probably some good reason this won't work, but if it is bothering you... Otherwise, what's the story behind the title? You never finished!

This is one of your best ... to date. (I can only imagine from the growth that I see what you will produce next. :o) )
I will pass this along to you ... something that was told to me recently ... make your pieces substantially larger at the outset before resizing down to upload. I believe, at least in Photoshop anyways, after you have completed your piece at say 3200 X 2400 ... use the "Bi-Cubic Smoother" option when sizing down to delineate your lines somewhat more.
(Conversely, if you are importing an object and want to resize up; "Bi-Cubic Sharper.")
