A young woman with raven hair, palest skin and dark sapphire eyes sneaked out of her small village through with not a sound. She creep in to the Vanishing Forest, anyone who stepped in to that forest was never seen again. She didn’t mind though, not one bit. Actually that was exactly what she wanted to happen, to never be seen again.
She thought back to last time she had talked to her stepmother, a horrid women she was but if it wasn’t for her she wouldn’t here now would she.
“You useless girl!” She screamed “Just go Keira!”
And so with that Keira decide she would do just that, run away forever, to see what lies outside her small village……
Oh, darn...now you've got me hooked with that story, and I don't suppose there are any more episodes coming up? The visual fits very nicely as well ...good job, but I sure wish you hadn't stopped !!! :)

EDIT: Oh, and it's good to see you posting again :)

I am an utter sucker for the subtle blending of images, and this is excellent. :) The composition is gentle enough for a desktop background, and has enough richness and darkness to capture the eye. The top of the sheen on the jewel is a touch pixelated, as is the texture on the bottom left-hand side of that blue bar. Otherwise, this is nearly perfect. Goes into my favorites.
Terrific image to return with, though. This is gorgeous. The blue-greens are simply wonderful and give this fantastic, dark depths and a great air of mystery.
A beautiful image, my friend. May I offer a small suggestion? It looks like you're using photoshop to create these wonderful images. I'm going to assume you do, and that your highlight on the jewel is on its own layer. Sometimes I find that I can soften a pixelated edge (in this example, the top of your highlight in this image) with the blur tool. Another technique I use is to do the following...
1) select the painted pixels in your highlight layer by CTRL-clicking on the thumbnail image in the layer. Make sure your layer is also selected (highlighted).
2) In the select menu - choose modify - then contract. Contract the selection by 1 or 2 pixels.
3) In the select menu - choose feather - then feather the selection by 1 or 2 pixels.
4) Select menu - select the inverse. Then press the delete key. This will give you a softer edge.
