Has a different name on dA, but anyways, this is the REAL name. Haha, i am pretty proud of this and would love some CC. Especially on how I could improve the neck and angle of the head. This was for a friend's birthday and she loves top hats. Plus, there is glitter on this ( the wand, and hat band ). I am very happy with this!! So enjoy my lovelies!!
... ...
Ok, need to earn my cookies then. ;o)
I like the tilt of top hatter and the slightly suggestive pose as presented. I say slightly suggestive, so as to not infer anything improper. Intriguing and certainly alluring, might be apt descriptors.
Perhaps, more subtle ... might be an appropriate suggestion. As in, less head forward. The combination of posture and eyes in particular, would carry your concept/idea more than well enough I believe.
Hope you don't mind the following ...
Inverting or reversing the direction of the wand (pointing down and into frame) might be an idea as well. Do you wish your viewer's eyes to follow that line and move towards the outside of frame?
/\ That's the crux of my thoughts with respect to that element. (A very, very nice touch, by the way.)
Don't mean to rain on your lovely artistic parade here with my words above. And know that when I saw your image in queue, got a tad excited from just seeing the thumbnail.
Beautiful colours, like your medium of choice and but of course, your top hatter here. You've really excelled on a number of points and in the final analysis ... more than good good in my eyes. :o)
Annnnnd ... but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. Your friend will love it. :o)
Edit: Came back to add some .. ahem .. more words. :oP
On the note of the wand, undecided now (sorry for adding to the confuzzlement). The operative word that comes to mind is that of a 'counterpoint'.
As your top hatter is certainly strong enough to keep your viewer's eyes wthin frame. :o)
