With these kind of subjects, more so than ever with the position of its wings, moving the frame a bit to the right would work wonders. Instead of being centered and appearing stationary, it would be towards the left of the shot and hence appear to be moving forward. It generally gives the shot a bit more purpose and makes it seem inspirational in some way.
Also, there is very little color in this picture. If you want to go for that stark look, try darkening it a bit and push up the contrast. If not, seeing as the background is so marvelously uniform, you could change the background color. The only hitch would be the wings, so it is hard to tell what to do.
The detail is really good and these subjects are hard to find just right. Keep taking those pictures!
