I took this shot today in the early morning so that I could get home in time to watch our Buckeyes play Wisconsin. When I first began my walk there was heavy fog, as you will see in this shot. There is also a bench and it has owd reserved on it. GWS, Bob! Here is some information about Alum Creek Park.

Good image and really has a moody feel to it. Ok so the bench is reserved for Bob but i might take just a quick rest.

Looks like you caught the tree in it's skivvies, before it had chance to get leaves on. Great shot, almost looks black and white, but little color in clouds give it away. Tree makes the photo and other silhouettes add to beauty of this scene. Very good John and your Buckeys won too. Great day for you.

Wow...this is an incredible image. I LOVE this one, it is going straight into my faves. It is very Tim Burton..ish. But your image is greater because it came straight from nature. Lovely capture! Well done.

I love this one. The fog, the light and the comp is great. A moody and mysterious photo, but also calm and I can almost "hear" the silence :-). Very well done! Goes to my favs.

Well, I faved it on my hard drive, so I've got this one for dreaming. Great Walters!!

I went to the web site and what a great place this looks like for future reference if I ever find my way out of the hills of NH.

Superior post and very well done.

You captured the mood here extremely well. Having the brightest light source directly behind that tree makes for a wonderful silhouette. Nice photography John ... very nice.

This is really very lovely, John. The indirect lighting really makes the fog stand out and the silhouettes so nice to view. A great shot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . I'm with Patti - I didn't see this one this morning and it's absolutely outstanding. Another one straight to my favourites. You're amazing me John - that camera was a great investment, and simply because it's inspiring you to new heights. Stunning stuff - you've got many of my favourite elements here (lines, textures, light) but the biggest one of all is simplicity. Just wonderful.

Note to Bonnie / others - I have had the same problem putting your pictures into favourites. Firefox doesn't seem to like it when you link to another page - but IE works.
