I have always been a front row person. It could have been a sporting event, or a concert, or a movie, or even a classroom. It did not matter. I have just always preferred to be where I could see and hear without interference. This spot is such a place. You could sit there for hours and watch as the sun makes its journey across the lake and all before you is magically changed by the golden light it casts off.

John, I love what you wrote to go along with the beautiful image. Such lovely colors and wonderful comp. I see there is a bench for the likes of Owd Bob too. :) =^..^= sandi ♪

This is lovely John. The colours are breath taking indeed. I think who ever thought of putting that bench there was right, as it gives the perfect spot to see all about you. Also love your narrative. You are always good with words John and you have done your image credit again. Well done!

I think I would like to sit on that bench and watch my bobber go under, then watch a nice plump catfish come out attached to the hook on the line of my bamboo pole. Nice surroundings, a shady tree, and a bench. What more could ya ask for? Except for maybe a cooler filled with your favorite refreshment. I love the colors in this, and the blues are outstanding. Very nice, John.

Glorious color and such a beautiful scene. That weepy tree adds such grace to the whole of it too. Were you an English major, John? Front row in the classroom helps you get good grades. Wish I'd known that long ago. lol I just don't like front row at the movies. Front row here is just delightful!

Something tells me that bench is going to get very crowded... save a place on it for me. What a lovely deep green color on the water! Good 'un!

I was/am more of a back row person Shads. The last to arrive and the first to leave. Well I guess that depends on where the door is. I can see you on the front row. It has done you well.

This photo is where it belongs......on the front row.

Wonderfully composed. Enjoy the bench and tree of your front row view of the lake. What a nice narrative. Although I would have to debate your preference for the other events. : )
