"He must have felt that he had lost the old warm world, paid a high price for living too long with a single dream. He must have looked up at an unfamiliar sky through frightening leaves and shivered as he found what a grotesque thing a rose is and how raw the sunlight was upon the scarcely created grass. A new world, material without being real, where poor ghosts, breathing dreams like air, drifted fortuitously about...like that ashen, fantastic figure gliding toward him through the amorphous trees."

The Great Gatsby ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald

Well I hope you dont fall into winter John, think you've done enough falling for one year!!! ha ha Lovely image again. I can see the trees at the side of a field with those snow clouds approaching fast. I really love the textured look to these images. Great work John! Well done!

What a beautiful way to illustrate the wind! In the sky, in the trees, in the bushes and in the fields. This one's a keeper. Thanks.

It does look like something straight out of the Roaring 20's Shads. The textures looks like ropes of all discriptions. I can feel the wind blowing through this one.
