I agree with Allison here. It does look like you have taken us into that surreal forest abit further, and what a forest this is John. Brilliant work and I hope more to come of this distinctive style you have created for yourself. Well done!

Beautiful warming creation, John! Love the etched-like textures and depth you achieved in your post processing technique. It reminds me of a lithophane, where as lighting is seen from behind a translucent material. Excellent work once again! :)
